AUTHOR SCOTT L. MILLER
Scott L. Miller earned his Master’s degree in social work at St. Louis University and has worked extensively as a psychiatric and medical LCSW in public and private settings.
He has penned three suspense novels in the Mitch Adams series that feature a clinical social worker in private practice forced to become a fledgling private investigator in book one after the murder of his girlfriend. Fate thrusts Mitch into an unwanted spotlight every year in a time-consuming case with grave personal consequences and for those he loves.
Counterfeit garnered early interest in a movie deal with a major motion picture studio and a well-known director.
Long fascinated by the human brain, Miller studied writing under the late John Gardner and Jeremiah Healy.
Miller is working on a fourth in the series, and another novel with a female protagonist on a journey in search of her son.
An avid fan of trivia, horse racing, and movie buff, he lives in Chesterfield, MO, a suburb of St. Louis, with his beagle Juliet.
